Look What was in my E-mail! Yes! I am a proud mom!

BIRMINGHAM, AL (01/25/2011)(read Media)-- Andrew E. Davis of Helena, a junior Spanish major, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Samford University. Davis is the son of Glenn Davis.

To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Samford University is consistently ranked in the top tier of national doctoral research universities by U.S. News & World Report. Founded in 1841, it is the largest private university in Alabama with more than 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled annually.
