A note from Angelia!

Hey everyone! Here's a little note from Angelia about her classes coming up... (click on the image to the right for a larger version!) Also, for more information on her classes, click here.

Angelia's note:
I'm so excited about visiting Birmingham next month! I wanted to send out a bit more info about my classes, with some peeks at the projects we'll be completing in class. These are only small glimpses of what you'll be creating in class. See you soon!

Butterfly Kisses
This colorful, yet versatile 5"X5" chipboard album is perfect for so many different photos. I chose to use pictures of my daughter at Gulf Shores last summer, but the papers and embellishments, including the large polka dot flower and butterfly creation on the cover, can easily showcase your photos of special people, collectibles, occasions, or events. Sepia or b&w photos also match well in this 6-page album (plus front and back covers). Techniques include covering chipboard, distressing, inking, layering embellishments, and creative use of pre-made die cuts, brads, flowers, and stickers.

No Place Like Home
I'll admit to being a bit ambitious with this 3.25"X6.5" altered tag album. I wanted to pack as many interactive techniques as possible into this 13-page album (plus front and back cover). The warm reds and golds, along with touches of black and green make this a versatile and fun album to create. My color family photos fit right inside, but b&w ones would work too. Techniques include covering chipboard, distressing, layering embellishments, stamping with clear stamps, hidden journaling flap tag, transparency window tag, pocket tag with hidden journaling, and creative use of stickers, Primas, and stamps.

Spring Bling
how cool is it to be able to create an accordian album from scratch? In this class we'll learn the basics, and add all the fluff to make this 4"X6" accordian album a standout! With "bling" in the title, you know it has to be good :D We'll create the accordian, cover chipboard with frosty flocked papers, and add Heidi Swapp Bling, paper flowers, handcut photo corners, and alphabet stickers. Bright floral papers, rhinestone flowers, lots of ribbon, hidden journaling tags, brads, and glitter rub on transfers will decorate the inside pages of this album perfect for spring, summer, or a little girl's room.

Titles in the Round
a girl has to have some surprises ;) Actually, I'm creating this class especially for Scrapbook Mania, and I'm developing it right now. If you are ready to get out of your "box" you are going to love this bright, bold, fun class with lots of patterned paper and circle ideas! Stay tuned as I will send out sneak peeks next week!
