Fundamentals of Design!

Hey Guys,

I just read an article on the Fundamentals of Design (room design). One rule was "Buy what speaks to you". Do you think this is true of scrapbooking? Do we buy what speaks to us?Or should we buy what speaks to us? What do you think?
