Andrew!

I know I am supposed to blog about myself but I would like to blog about my son Andrew. Andrew is a very gifted and diligent son. He is also very smart. He has his dad's brain and my smile. I am so proud of him. He has been accepted into Samford University and been asked to apply for their Scholars program. All at the age of 16. Though he does turn 17 in a couple of weeks.

Now, there are many graduates who will be accepted into Samford and to many other fine schools. I guess the big thing about Andrew being accepted is that I have homeschooled him since he was 5 years old. Homeschooling was a good fit for us and I loved being able to guide his course work. Many times I thought when he got older we would put him is school, especially when he got into High School. But homeschooling has come a long way, and I was able to put him in science and Spanish classes (my 2 weaknesses). So............we just kept on homeschooling. Anyway he has a 3.95 average and has completed all his requirements. Obviously I am a very proud mom and I am very happy he will be close to home for a while.

O.K. now Scrapbook Mania news. We did get in some new Autumn Leaves stamps and the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine. Man, this magazine is so........great. The layouts and cards are so.......beautiful. As always when you spend $10 you get the magazine FREE. That is a GREAT deal.

I will send out an e-mail tomorrow about next weeks sales. Remember, all albums are 45% off and magazines and books are 40% off through tomorrow. We have sold out of Revolutions. But will have some more after Christmas.

We have some Quickutz Silhouettes coming in. Hopefully they will be here Thursday or Friday. They will be $299.00 and the download cards will be $39.99.

Here are some pictures of Andrew speaking and performing with our youth group.

More later!

You should be very proud of Andrew and of yourself! That's a tremendous accomplishment. See you soon!
