Happy July 4th!

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone has a happy July 4th. Three summers ago I spent July 4th in Williamsburg, Virginia. July 4th has never been the same for us. It was quite a patriotic experience. We loved every minute of it. They read the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the Courthouse. I will never forget it. I love the U.S.A.

We will be closed Wednesday July 4th. Remember tomorrow you can have any items in the store 40% off.

We have some fun events coming up. Nonna's Recipe Book Class is on Saturday July 21st. This class is filling up fast, but we have some spots left. We have had a lot of good feed back about Maelynn's book signing on Thursday July 26th. She will also be teaching a Doodling Class in the fall and we will have more on that later.

We will have our Survivor Island Crop on July 28th. It will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nonna and I will both be at this crop. The cost is $16 and that includes lunch and dinner. Now, I know on Survivor Island they have a lot of weird food like rattlesnake meat and some strange fish that I cannot pronounce. WE WILL NOT BE SERVING STRANGE FOOD. We will serve food you wish you had if you were stranded on a deserted island. At 7:00 on Saturday night and we will have some special GIVE-A-WAYS including a $25 gift certificate to use on NEW PRODUCT! Yea! First, you have to make it on to the Island. Call to find out how to be a part of this Island Scrapbook Adventure.

I know many of you have had friends diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We will host a 2 day crop on Sept. 28 and 29th. to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Crop for the Cure. The store will be pink and we will have many FREE items to give away. The cost is $25 and $10 of that goes as a donation to Susan G. Komen's Search for aCure! Many other stores around the country will be holding a Crop for the Cure. We will have more on this next week. Just put these dates on your calendar. Every little bit helps.

July is National Ice Cream Month. Hmmm........we will have to do something special. More later.
